 Foróige
Founded in 1952, Foróige provides a range of youth work services through the operation of Foróige Clubs (420), Local Youth Services (3), Local Youth Development Projects (90) and Youth Information Centres (4). This approach aims to meet the developmental needs of young people in general and, in particular circumstances, focus on vulnerable young people in relation to issues arising from poverty, marginalisation and social exclusion, under-achievement at school, early school leaving, youth crime, substance abuse and family difficulties.

 Girls’ Brigade
The aim of the Girls’ Brigade, being a Christian international and interdenominational organisation, is to help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.
The Girls’ Brigade programme seeks to develop girls spiritually, physically, educationally and in service and a comprehensive programme is organised under these headings.

 Macra na Feirme is a voluntary organisation for young people between the ages of 17 and 35 consisting of clubs throughout the country. Macra has five key areas of activity, agriculture, sports, travel, public speaking and performing arts.
